GPS is great but it doesn’t always work in rural areas. Precious seconds that are lost trying to find an address can mean the difference between life and death. Your address sign is how emergency crews will find you when you or your neighbor call 911. Florissant Fire Rescue wants to encourage every home in the subdivision to purchase one of these potentially life-saving address signs.

Tips for Sign Placement
- Install sign next to your driveway
- Sign should face the direction emergency crews will come from
- For long driveways, post a second sign further up the drive
- Shared driveways should have signs for both addresses
